Incarnation as a driving force for such a blog

Incarnation is just a fancy term for God in human flesh. But it's not just a term. It's the explosion of humility and lowliness contained in the birth of Emmanuel-Jesus Christ, Lord of glory. This God-man is the Creator of all things (Colossians 1:16). He was the Rock in the wilderness (I Corinthians 10:4). He was the glory Isaiah beheld in the midst of his prophesying (John 12:41). He is the Hub of God's purposes, the securer of salvation, the source of all godly pleasure and the lamp of heaven. Yet, He came...to erect a kingdom, saw...with compassion, loved...with death, conquered...with resurrection power. David's prayer rings eternally true, "There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours" (Psalm 86:8). Reflections?

  1. What else could our response be but to taste and see that the Lord is good? Amen.
